Job Summary

As an Experienced Retail Sales Associate – Customer Service & Data Entry Specialist at blithequark, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing sales transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. You will also be responsible for data entry tasks, including registering sales, managing inventory, and implementing agency asset safety strategies. Key Responsibilities

* Provides exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner

  • Registers sales on assigned cash register, collects cash, and distributes change as requested
  • Maintains a clean and organized store environment, including counters and shelves, and ensures that all products are properly merchandised
  • Assists with inventory management, including taking inventory, rotating stock, and restocking shelves
  • Implements agency asset safety strategies to prevent and reduce losses
  • Complies with all company policies and procedures, including those related to regulated products
  • Provides suggestive selling and promotes products to customers
  • Assists with outdoor and interior maintenance, including ensuring a clean, neat, and orderly store environment
  • Completes unique assignments and other responsibilities as assigned

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in any field

  • Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico)
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time

Preferred Qualifications

* Six months of experience in a retail environment

  • Prior experience with blithequark
  • Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico)
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours
  • Experience with data entry and inventory management

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
  • Proficiency in data entry and inventory management software
