As a Temporary Customer Service Associate, you will be an integral part of our team, working closely with colleagues to deliver outstanding results and exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Experience

+ Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. + Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience. + Model and share customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.

Operations

+ Provide customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service. + Recommend items for sale to customers and suggest trade-up and/or companion items. + Register customer purchases on assigned cash register, collect cash, and distribute change as requested. + Process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed. + Keep counters and shelves clean and well-merchandised, take inventory, and maintain records. + Check in and price merchandise as required or as directed by store manager or communicated by the shift leader. + Implement Company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss. + Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products (e.g., alcoholic beverages and tobacco products).

Visual Merchandising

+ Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise. + Complete resets and revisions as directed.

Photo Services

+ Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print, and creative machine. + Suggestively sell promotional photo products.

Web Pick-up and Maintenance

+ Assume web pick-up responsibilities, monitoring orders in Picture Care Plus, filling orders, and delivering orders to customers as they arrive at the store. + Assist with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring a clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance.

Training & Personal Development

+ Attend training and complete PPLs requested by Manager or assigned by corporate.

Essential Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or vocational training preferred.

  • Previous customer service experience in a retail environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Previous experience in a retail environment, preferably in a customer-facing role.

  • Knowledge of store systems and store equipment.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
