Key Responsibilities

As an Account Strategist, Mid-Market Sales, your primary focus will be on building and managing relationships with clients, developing an in-depth understanding of their business challenges, marketing goals, and success metrics. You'll work proactively and cooperatively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure workflows and projects are completed on time to a high standard. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Planning for, and achieving, growth goals, through the presentation of blithequark advertising products/solutions that will help clients to meet their marketing goals.
  • Developing forward-thinking, data-driven analyses and consultative recommendations that align with customer goals, and quantifying high-impact opportunities with clear recommendations to present to customers.
  • Building an in-depth knowledge of how blithequark advertising products work and can be used to help meet a wide range of marketing goals.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in advertising, sales, marketing, consulting, or media.
  • Ability to travel 20% of the time.
  • Experience strategically assessing and achieving client success via sales techniques, including effective questioning, objection handling, and competitive selling.
  • Experience working with channel sales, advertisers, agencies, and/or clients.
  • Expertise in launching and managing paid digital advertising campaigns, particularly in Google Ads and other digital marketing platforms.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize a portfolio in an advertising or media sales context, and ability to achieve goals to drive growth.
  • Ability to build compelling narratives and utilize storytelling as a client engagement strategy.

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following preferred qualifications will make you a strong candidate for this role:

  • Experience working with small- and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) and understanding their unique challenges and opportunities.
  • Knowledge of Google advertising products and platforms, including Google Ads, Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager.
  • Experience with data analysis and interpretation, and ability to develop data-driven recommendations.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to clients and stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.

  • Base salary range: $81,000-$119,000
