Key Responsibilities

As a Full Stack Customer Service Representative, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Welcoming clients at the airport or ticket counter, ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in process.
  • Monitoring the ticket counter area to maintain compliance with security protocols and procedures.
  • Assisting clients with self-service kiosks and booth operations, including printing tickets and receipts.
  • Troubleshooting booth technology issues, identifying causes and resolving problems.
  • Communicating with IT to resolve technical issues and ensure seamless operations.
  • Confirming clients' carry-on items comply with FAA and blithequark policies.
  • Verifying and clearing travel documents, including passports and visas, for international travelers.
  • Assisting clients with checked baggage handling, including processing visa exchanges and self-labeling.
  • Managing lines in ticket counter areas, prioritizing tasks and ensuring efficient service.
  • Activating and processing clients' self-labeled items at the activation station.
  • Moving items throughout the ticket counter area, including checking oversized bags and sporting equipment.
  • Referring clients to customer service specialists when necessary.
  • Performing document checks and verifications at stands.
  • Assisting non-ambulatory clients with boarding, deplaning, or transportation.
  • Providing clients with gate information and directions.
  • Performing paging exercises, including reporting forgotten items and requesting clients to return to locked bags.
  • Performing additional related duties as deemed functionally significant by management, in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement.

Requirements

To succeed as a Full Stack Customer Service Representative, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 18 years of age.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Bilingual language skills may be required in certain areas.
  • A valid driver's license, as required by local authorities.
  • Completion of a pre-employment drug screen, comprehensive background check, or fingerprinting, as necessary.
  • Compliance with FAA criminal background investigations to qualify for unescorted access to airport security ID display areas (SIDA), if applicable.
  • Ability to obtain necessary airport power or US Customs security IDs, if applicable.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications will be advantageous:

  • Working knowledge of Sabre or other Traveler Service Systems.
  • Previous face-to-face customer service experience.
  • Experience working in a high-speed environment.
