Job Summary

As a Full Stack Data Scientist at blithequark, you will play a critical role in generating high-quality, evidence-based insights that inform our business decisions and drive growth. You will work closely with our Clinical Research and Evidence Generation team to design and execute robust statistical analyses, develop predictive models, and create data visualizations that communicate complex findings to stakeholders. Your expertise will be essential in identifying trends, patterns, and correlations in large datasets, and in developing actionable recommendations that drive business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

* Mine crude information sources to extract normalized, analysis-ready patient data from in-house resources or authorized platforms, and develop data visualization tools to communicate findings to stakeholders

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven solutions that address business challenges and opportunities
• Design and execute statistical analyses, predictive modeling, and data mining techniques to identify trends, patterns, and correlations in large datasets
• Develop and maintain data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes to support data-driven decision-making
• Work with stakeholders to develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, security, and compliance
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data science and analytics, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our data science capabilities

Essential Capabilities

* Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as mathematics, statistics, computer science, or engineering

• Experience in designing and executing robust statistical analyses, including hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and time series analysis
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL, and experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js
• Experience working with large datasets, including data cleaning, preprocessing, and feature engineering
• Strong understanding of data governance principles, including data quality, security, and compliance
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

Favored Capabilities

* PhD or graduate degree in a quantitative field, such as statistics, biostatistics, computer science, or mathematics

• Experience working with electronic medical records (EMRs), healthcare information technology (HIT), and clinical data standards, including ICD-9/10/ReadCode and SNOMED-CT
• Familiarity with clinical trial design, regulatory compliance, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP)
• Experience with machine learning algorithms, including supervised and unsupervised learning, and deep learning techniques
• Strong understanding of data science and analytics tools, including R, Python, and SQL, and experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js
• Experience working with cloud-based data platforms, including Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure
