Job Summary

As an Experienced Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be responsible for interacting with our customers via phone, email, or online chat to provide timely and precise communication, resolve issues, and facilitate order transactions. You will be the face of our company, representing our brand values and ensuring that every customer interaction is a positive one.

Key Responsibilities

* Interact with customers by phone, email, or online chat to provide an outstanding experience via timely and precise communication.

  • Collect and enter orders for our products, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Field customer questions and concerns, taking appropriate actions to develop resolutions and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Manage the flow of sales orders for internal sales partners, confirming accuracy and ensuring seamless communication.
  • Maintain customer records in CRM and other business systems, ensuring up-to-date information and accurate tracking.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external organizations, groups, team members, and individuals.
  • Assist with various projects and other duties as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities, allowing you to focus on delivering exceptional customer service and supporting your colleagues as needed.

Work Environment

As a remote employee, you will have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home, with occasional opportunities to work from our Portland, OR office or participate in team meetings. This role requires standard office equipment, including computers and phones, and may involve some lifting during trade show setup and teardown (up to 50 pounds).

Physical Demands

This is a largely sedentary role, requiring the ability to talk, write, and listen. Some flexibility in hours is allowed and required, with the expectation of being available on most days during normal working hours.

Travel

Very limited out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be needed on an annual basis for team meetings.

Required Education and Experience

* AA degree or equivalent from a 2-year college or technical school, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Proven customer support experience with the ability to adapt/respond to different situations.
  • Professional, outgoing, and service-oriented, with a minimum of 2 years of Customer Service experience in a B2B setting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Preferred Education and Experience

* Experience with CRM, ERP, and warehouse management systems.

  • Familiarity with Zendesk and Asana.
