Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Customer Service Representative to work in a 100% remote call center environment, providing support to our patients and customers across the Continental US. As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be responsible for handling a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. This is a full-time, temporary position (3-6 months) that offers a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to work with a leading healthcare technologies organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle a large volume of inbound and outbound calls in a timely and professional manner
  • Follow communication scripts and use knowledge of blithequark's products and services to go off-script when necessary
  • Identify patient needs, learn and utilize the Caption platform for scheduling appointments, schedule new appointments, modify/cancel existing appointments, resolve complaints, and provide solutions
  • Maintain ownership of calls throughout the lifecycle of a caller's request, including follow-ups
  • Recommend improvements for systems and processes to boost organizational efficiency
  • Memorize scripts for Caption Care services and refer to them during calls
  • Build positive relationships by going above and beyond with customer service, ensuring that all questions, cancellations, and confirmations are handled appropriately
  • Meet daily qualitative and quantitative targets for call volume and achieve all objectives for service, productivity, and quality
  • Create and maintain a record of daily problems and remedial actions taken, using the call-center database
  • Leverage data and insights gathered by the call center to recommend and influence process improvements
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Essential Qualifications

  • High school degree or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of experience working in a call center or customer support role
  • Strong active listening and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in problem-solving and conflict resolution
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365 or similar software

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a healthcare technologies environment
  • Knowledge of the Caption platform or similar scheduling software
  • Experience with data analysis and process improvement
  • Strong technical skills and ability to learn new software and systems quickly

You will also need to be highly organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage your time effectively.
