Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Ensuring that patients have a positive experience while resolving their accounts in a timely and compassionate manner
  • Providing exceptional customer service, responding to patient inquiries, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Working closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, including account information and communication history
  • Participating in ongoing training and education to stay current on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborating with other departments and teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum of two years' experience in customer service, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions
  • Proficiency in computer software applications, including Microsoft Office and electronic medical records systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

* Associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, healthcare administration, or communications

  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in customer service or patient advocacy
  • Certification in customer service, patient advocacy, or a related field

Work Environment

As a remote Customer Service Representative, you'll work from the comfort of your own home, with a dedicated workspace and reliable internet connection. You'll be expected to work a standard Monday-to-Friday schedule, with occasional evening or weekend shifts as needed.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this role varies by location, with the following ranges:

  • NorCal (Napa, Sonoma): $21.82 - $33.99 per hour
  • Southern California, NorCal (Humboldt): $19.45 - $30.29 per hour
  • WA Puget Sound: $18.66 - $29.06 per hour
  • Oregon (Portland): $18.66 - $29.06 per hour
  • Oregon (Hood River, Medford, Seaside): $17.39 - $27.09 per hour
  • Eastern Washington (Richland, Spokane, Walla Walla): $16.60 - $25.86 per hour
  • Montana: $15.02 - $23.40 per hour
  • Texas/New Mexico: $14.23 - $22.17 per hour
