Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Engineer to join our team and help us build and maintain our event-driven data pipelines on AWS. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of AWS local event-driven services, such as Amazon EventBridge, AWS Lambda, and AWS Step Functions, as well as experience with data engineering best practices, including data modeling, data quality, and data security. The successful candidate will also have experience with Python, NoSQL, and Kinesis.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain event-driven data pipelines on AWS
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand and define data requirements
- Perform data quality checks and monitoring
- Optimize data pipelines for performance and cost
- Stay up-to-date on the latest AWS advancements
- Develop and implement personalization calculations using Python and Pydantic models
- Design and maintain DynamoDB tables and NoSQL databases
- Use Amazon Kinesis to collect, process, and analyze streaming data

What You Need to Succeed
* A strong focus on the health and safety of self, others, and individual data
- An ability to work collaboratively with diverse individuals, thinking, and styles
What Will Give You an Upper Hand
* A four-year degree in computer science, data science, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering
- A solid understanding of AWS local event-driven services
- Experience with data modeling, data quality, and data security
- Experience with Python and serverless advancements
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
