Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Call Center Representative to join our customer support team at blithequark. As a Call Center Representative, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service and support. Key Responsibilities

• Utilize blithequark's prescription information systems and guidelines to process new patient enrollments by entering data into the appropriate system.
• Handle patient medication requests within HIPAA guidelines and enter refill orders for processing.
• Investigate to obtain missing prescription information and interpret medical abbreviations (SIG codes).
• Resolve all data entry-related exceptions.
• Handle communication to patients (inbound calls, visits, messages) and make outbound calls to prescribers and patients as necessary.
• Resolve Third-Party Rejections by investigating, gathering information, making corrections, and resubmitting for processing according to individual plan requirements.
• Make phone calls to guarantors and others to obtain information, gain override approval, or otherwise resolve Third-Party Rejections.
• Provide support to Pharmacists, both those in the office and those at other locations.
• Identify and communicate issues to senior-level staff as appropriate.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Basic level computer skills (e.g., start and shut down a computer, use a mouse to point and click, start and close programs, switch between applications, save files, print documents, and access information online).
• Basic web browser skills, including opening a browser, typing in URLs in the correct location, using a search engine, bookmarking a website, navigating using back/forward/stop buttons, and filling out forms online.
• Intermediate level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, formatting documents).
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset:

• Experience providing customer support to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services and assessment of customer satisfaction.
• Intermediate to advanced level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, formatting documents).
• Proficiency in Spanish and English.
