Job Summary
We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Analyst to join our Business Intelligence and Analytics team. As a Senior Data Analyst, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data-driven solutions that inform business decisions and drive growth. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas of opportunity, develop data-driven insights, and implement actionable recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct thorough analyses, develop data-driven insights, and create high-impact recommendations to inform business decisions
- Collaborate with stakeholders to discuss findings, provide context, and drive business outcomes
- Design, develop, and maintain adaptable self-service tools and dashboards that align with departmental objectives, enabling cross-functional teams to access data and identify key insights
- Work closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to identify areas of opportunity, develop data-driven solutions, and inform prioritization decisions
- Mentor departmental colleagues on data analysis best practices, technical skills, and emerging trends in data science
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analysis and business intelligence
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Economics
- 2+ years of work experience in a related field, preferably in business analysis, strategy, startup/tech, or marketing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to tailor communication style to meet the needs of diverse stakeholders
- Strong technical skills, with experience using data from multiple sources to solve complex problems, tell stories, and drive business outcomes
- Proficiency in SQL, Google Cloud Platform, and Excel/Google Sheets
- Knowledge of data visualization tools, such as Google Data Studio, Looker, or similar
- Familiarity with Python/Git is a plus, but not required
