Key Responsibilities:

As a Customer Service Associate I, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting customers with questions and recommendations, providing personalized solutions to meet their needs
  • Managing sales transactions while working assigned cash register, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Maintaining the security of cash and protecting company assets, adhering to our strict security protocols
  • Keeping the store well-stocked, recovering merchandise, and receiving shipments in accordance with productivity standards
  • Ensuring a positive, safe, and respectful environment, maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders
  • Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable
  • Other duties as assigned by your supervisor, including participating in visual merchandising, inventory management, and special projects

Skills and Experience:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment highly preferred
  • Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Physical stamina to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height, and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
  • Excellent customer service and relationship management skills, with a strong ability to communicate effectively with customers, associates, and leaders
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a proactive approach to resolving issues and improving processes
