The Role The Manager, Central Services, Transient Sales will be responsible for managing the negotiated segment for a small portfolio of Select Service & Full Service properties. They will lead a team of Transient Specialists & Administrative Assistants to deliver strong performance in business travel accounts at participating hotels. The Central Sales Manager must be able to coach team members and ensure high performance. This person will be responsible for managing a team and hotels across the Americas. The Central Sales Manager would be someone who has demonstrated, through performance, a thorough understanding and competence in Business Travel sales, Hyatt systems, and the hotel/business travel industry. Qualifications: Experience Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in hotel Business Travel sales
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Previous Managerial Experience
  • Refined verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organization and presentation skills
  • Must be able to work independently and simultaneously manage multiple tasks
  • Must be proficient in general computer knowledge, Envision, Opera, and Cvent
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint, and be capable of creating documents, working with charts, and spreadsheets.

Experience Preferred:

  • Business Travel Sales experience at Hyatt hotels

The salary range for this position is $90,000 to $100,000. This position is also eligible for a Sales Incentive Plan. The final pay rate/salary offered to the successful candidate will depend on experience, skill level and other qualifications for the role, as well as the location of the performance of work.
