Job Summary

As a Night Shift Chat Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing timely and effective support to our customers through various communication channels, including chat, email, and phone. You will work independently to resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and issues, using your problem-solving skills and technical expertise to find creative solutions. Your primary goal will be to ensure that our customers receive the highest level of service and support, even during night shifts.

Key Responsibilities

* Handle incoming chats, emails, and phone calls from customers, responding to their inquiries, complaints, and issues in a timely and professional manner

  • Use problem-solving skills to resolve complex customer issues, often without a pre-defined solution
  • Place outbound calls to customers to resolve account status, complaints, and account collection issues
  • Direct calls to further problem resolution, if necessary
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer experience
  • Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and technical expertise to provide accurate and helpful information to customers
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics, including response time, resolution rate, and customer satisfaction

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent amount of work experience

  • 1+ years of work experience in a fast-paced customer service role in technology, hospitality, or grocery & convenience
  • Highly motivated individual with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Fluency in English, with above-average technical fluency (typing speed of 40 WPM)
  • Effective written communication skills, including top-notch grammar, spelling, and the ability to write both formally and casually using blithequark's brand voice and tone
  • Above-average technological fluency, with comfort using Google Sheets and G-Suite
  • Familiarity with Slack

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience in grocery & convenience

  • Experience with Google Sheets and G-Suite
  • Bonus points for experience with DoorDash's brand voice and tone
