Key Responsibilities

As an Inside Sales Consultant, you'll be responsible for:

  • Training, strategizing, and efficiently promoting Yelp's advertising programs through a high volume of outbound sales calls – this role is 100% phone-based.
  • Achieving a high number of sales conversions by identifying and engaging with potential clients across various industries, including dentists, florists, and restaurant owners.
  • Managing a pipeline of clients using our CRM (Salesforce) and adapting to their unique needs and preferences.
  • Developing a deep understanding of Yelp's advertising solutions and product features to effectively communicate their value to clients.
  • Overcoming objections and rejection to consistently meet and exceed monthly sales goals.
  • Working independently with minimal supervision, prioritizing tasks, and managing time effectively to achieve daily and monthly targets.

What It Takes to Succeed

To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • A GED/HS Diploma and 2+ years of customer-facing experience, or a Bachelor's Degree.
  • No fear of the smartphone and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Strong computer and email skills, with experience using Google Suite and a MacBook computer.
  • A distraction-free work environment and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • The potential to efficiently prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to achieve daily and monthly targets.
  • Current US sales authorization.
