Position Summary
As an Experienced Pharmacy Technician – Data Entry & Customer Service (2nd Shift) On-Site Full Time at blithequark, you'll be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including:
- Entering orders and collaborating with pharmacists to ensure accuracy and efficiency in the medication dispensing process
- Providing exceptional customer service to patients and their families, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Triaging customer service requests by department, urgency, and information/response required
- Calculating and/or verifying correct dosage based on prescriptions
- Assisting in reviewing narcotic prescriptions in a timely manner
- Providing dispensing pharmacists with information regarding allergies and drug interactions, therapeutic duplications, and other items that the computer flags
- Creating and maintaining accurate customer records

Required Qualifications
* Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law
- One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician
- Education: Verifiable High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications
* Prior experience in the long-term care industry
- PTCB National Certification
