Job Summary

As a Director, Consumer Data Collection and Activation, you'll be responsible for creating and executing comprehensive strategies for gathering, managing, and utilizing first-party buyer information across the digital environment. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including Advertising Classifications, IMX Media, Martech, and other internal or external brand development groups, to enhance customer engagement, acquisition, and loyalty across various digital channels.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and implement exhaustive techniques for collecting, processing, and utilizing first-party buyer information across the digital environment.

  • Design and enhance data collection structures, including website cookies, customer enrollments, surveys, and other online interactions, to capture significant buyer data. Investigate potential opportunities for data enrichment through external sources to improve buyer profiles and segmentation.
  • Define and execute customized customer journeys across digital ecosystems, ensuring consistency and relevance. Organize end-to-end digital CRM campaigns and develop data-driven content strategies that resonate with diverse customer segments.
  • Collaborate with various teams to align first-party buyer information collection and activation strategies with overall business objectives. Foster a collaborative environment that encourages information sharing and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Work closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure data collection practices comply with data protection regulations and industry standards. Execute robust consent management cycles to obtain explicit authorization from customers for data collection and usage.

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., marketing, business, computer science)

  • At least 8-12 years of experience in digital customer engagement or CRM leadership roles
  • Strong passion for data-driven customer engagement strategies and a commitment to advocating for the best customer experience
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and partners, coordinate efforts, and manage risks in complex situations
  • Proven ability to interpret business goals into meaningful customer engagement strategies
  • Proficiency in marketing automation and CRM platforms, such as Adobe Experience Manager and Adobe Campaign

Preferred Qualifications

* Advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g., MBA, MS in Marketing)

  • Experience working with large datasets and data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau)
  • Familiarity with cloud-based platforms and infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure)
  • Certification in data protection and compliance (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)
