Responsibilities

As a Customer Alarm Monitoring Agent at blithequark, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to alarm signals from customers' alarm systems in a timely and efficient manner
  • Dispatching emergency signals to police, fire, and medical agencies as needed
  • Providing world-class customer service to customers in their time of need, ensuring their safety and security are prioritized
  • Notifying customers of non-emergency signals and providing clear explanations of the situation
  • Notifying account contacts of emergency signals after dispatch, ensuring seamless communication and coordination
  • Receiving and processing inbound calls requesting information, providing accurate and timely responses
  • Maintaining accurate records of alarm signals, dispatches, and customer interactions

Requirements

To succeed as a Customer Alarm Monitoring Agent at blithequark, you will need to possess the following qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to type a minimum of 40 words per minute
  • Must be able to pass an FBI criminal background check to obtain a Burglar Alarm License in all 50 states
  • One year of customer service experience preferred, but not required

Nice-to-Haves

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Bilingual Spanish/English speakers (additional $1.00 per hour)
  • Experience in a high-stress environment
