Key Responsibilities:
As a Customs Trade Coordinator, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders, including clients, transporters, intermediaries, government agencies, and management at all levels.
- Processing and arranging customs clearance for shipments, utilizing data from various sources, including databases, SOPs, duty books, web, and customs documentation.
- Maintaining and updating all shipment documentation in accordance with record-keeping requirements, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and laws.
- Collaborating with internal staff, divisions, other blithequark activities, and clients to deliver a high level of service and support.
- Processing organizational financier shipments and handling distant filings as required.
- Ensuring adherence to all organizational and operational strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Performing other duties as assigned by management.
Essential Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- High School Certificate or GED required.
- No industry experience is necessary, but a minimum of six months of work experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in data entry and computer skills is essential.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to handle high volumes of work and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Viewpoint, and other office equipment, including telephone, fax, scanner, printer, and scanner.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Previous experience in customs trade, logistics, or a related field is an asset.
- Familiarity with various software systems and reference materials.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
