Job Summary

As a Customer Service Claims Specialist at blithequark, you will be responsible for answering internal and external phone and email inquiries, providing information and explanations on various levels of contract coverage and terms, and ensuring that our customers receive the best possible support. You will analyze information in Vehicle Service Contracts and claims systems to advise customers on the appropriate benefit amounts, request and distribute internal information to aid the Claims Adjudication Department, and manage workflow, process, and complete all requests and documents according to established procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze information in Vehicle Service Contracts and claims systems to advise customers on the appropriate benefit amounts.
  • Request and distribute internal information to aid the Claims Adjudication Department.
  • Answer phone and email inquiries and provide information and explanations on various levels of contract coverage and claims processes.
  • Manage workflow, process, and complete all requests and documents according to established procedures.
  • Work effectively in a friendly team environment and be a team player.
  • Be interactive and communicative with management and co-workers in a visible manner, with camera usage required for training, team meetings, and meetings with management.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned.

Key to Success

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a minimum of a High School graduate or GED, strong organizational and customer service skills, and the ability to problem-solve and multitask. You must be detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry skills and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, with the ability to communicate effectively with contract holders, agents, dealers, internal staff, upper management, and customers.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum High School graduate or GED.
  • Strong organizational and customer service skills.
  • Ability to problem-solve and multitask.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient working on a PC, with a working knowledge of MS Office and the ability to learn new programs quickly.
  • Ability to type at least 35 wpm and document information while discussing claims over the phone.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Automotive Service Department experience preferred.
  • Warranty Administrators, BDC Representatives, Automotive Cashier/Receptionist, Service Writers are also encouraged to apply.
  • Call center experience preferred.
