Job Summary
As an Experienced Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound customer calls, addressing a wide range of concerns, from application processes to billing issues and product problems. Your exceptional communication skills, combined with your ability to work independently and as part of a team, will enable you to establish a positive rapport with every caller while adhering to federal, state, and client guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
* Handle inbound and outbound customer calls, providing clear and concise information to resolve client concerns
- Update consumer account information during and after each call, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Identify payment options and set up payment arrangements as necessary
- Maintain a high level of professionalism, adhering to FDCPA and FCRA federal, state, and client guidelines
- Collaborate with management to ensure client/company quality standards are met
- Work assigned group of accounts, prioritizing tasks to meet daily and monthly service level expectations
- Provide account updates to management as required
- Ensure the best interests of the company are maintained at all times
- Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on UDAAP and compliance policies
Essential Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service and billing experience (a plus)
- Basic Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen as permitted by law
- Strong oral and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities
Preferred Qualifications
* Previous experience in a similar role, with a focus on customer service and compliance
- Working knowledge of billing practices and techniques
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in CRM software
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends (as required)
