Experienced Customer Care Representative – Weekend Shift (4-Day Schedule) for Remote Customer Service Team

As a key member of our Customer Care team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support to our customers through phone, live chat, and email interactions. Schedule and Work Environment

As a Customer Care Representative, you will work a 4-day weekend schedule, with the following hours:

  • Saturday: 12:30pm-11pm Eastern time
  • Sunday: 9am-7:30pm Eastern time
  • Monday: 10-hour shift between 9:30am-8pm Eastern time
  • Tuesday: 10-hour shift between 9:30am-8pm Eastern time

You will work remotely from a secure and quiet environment with a strong Internet connection, and blithequark will provide all necessary equipment.

Responsibilities

As a Customer Care Representative, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing exceptional customer service through phone, live chat, and email interactions
  • Resolving customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues
  • Identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services
  • Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and resolving issues
  • Participating in ongoing training and development to enhance customer service skills

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1-2 years of customer service experience in a call center or retail environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with customer service software

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:

  • Experience working in a remote or hybrid environment
  • Familiarity with customer service software and technology
  • Previous experience in the Lighting Industry or a related field
  • Certification in customer service or a related field

Compensation and Benefits

As a Customer Care Representative, you will be compensated at a rate of $18.00 per hour, with a $1.00 per hour increase after a 60-day provisional period. You will also be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including:

  • 2 weeks paid time off per year + 1 week sick time
