Job Summary

We are currently seeking an experienced Customs Trade Coordinator to join our team at blithequark. As a Customs Trade Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing import-related documentation, and ensuring compliance with all international importing and exporting regulations. This is a remote data entry position that offers a unique opportunity to work with a global industry leader and develop your skills and expertise in the field of logistics and transportation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Process import-related documentation, including data entry and handling of various documents for submission to US Customs
  • Maintain and keep current all shipment documentation in compliance with all record-keeping requirements
  • Comply with all international importing and exporting regulations
  • Work closely with other internal staff, departments, and clients to deliver a high level of service to clients
  • Process organization financier shipments and may handle remote filings
  • Ensure all service and organizational policies are followed

Essential Qualifications

  • High school certificate or GED required
  • No industry experience required, but a minimum of six months of work experience is preferred
  • Data entry/console experience required
  • Proficient in MS Office, Outlook, and Office equipment (phone, fax, scanner, printer, copier)
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and problem-solving abilities
  • Able to handle a high volume of work and time-sensitive tasks
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or a related field
  • Knowledge of international importing and exporting regulations
  • Experience with data entry and document processing
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

Skills and Competencies

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will also need to be proficient in MS Office and have experience with data entry and document processing. Additionally, you will need to be able to handle a high volume of work and time-sensitive tasks, and be able to prioritize tasks effectively.
