Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Java Software Engineer to join our Customer Systems team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and secure software solutions that meet the needs of our customers. You'll work closely with our business stakeholders, application owners, and other engineers to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and deploy scalable and secure software solutions using Java and Java-based technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the needs of our customers
- Work closely with business stakeholders, application owners, and other engineers to understand requirements and deliver solutions
- Develop and maintain high-quality code that meets our coding standards and best practices
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure high-quality code
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the industry
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 2+ years of experience in Java development, with a focus on backend systems
- Strong understanding of Java and Java-based technologies, including Spring, REST, and multi-threading
- Experience with database design and data access technologies, including SQL and NoSQL databases
- Strong understanding of software development life cycles and agile methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of experience in Java development, with a focus on backend systems
- Experience with cloud-based technologies, including AWS and Azure
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools, including Jenkins and Docker
- Strong understanding of security principles and best practices
- Experience with artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies
