Job Summary
As a Chat Moderator at blithequark, you will be responsible for ensuring that our online community remains a safe, respectful, and enjoyable space for all users. This is a part-time, remote position that requires flexibility and a strong sense of responsibility. You will be the first point of contact for users who have concerns or issues, and you will work closely with our team to resolve conflicts and maintain a positive online environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Moderate the chat of the official Discord server, ensuring that all users adhere to our community guidelines and rules
- Delete messages that violate our community guidelines and rules
- Ban users who have multiple and repeat violations of our community guidelines and rules
- Mute users who have violated our community guidelines and rules
- Investigate reports made by users about violations of our community guidelines and rules
- Collaborate with our team to resolve conflicts and maintain a positive online environment
- Provide excellent customer service and support to users who have concerns or issues
- Stay up-to-date with our community guidelines and rules, and ensure that all users are aware of them
Essential Qualifications
* Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Familiarity with Discord and online community management tools
