Experienced Full Stack Office Clerk/Data Entry Specialist – Remote Operations Support

As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for managing day-to-day data entry transactions, performing office clerical duties, and utilizing industry software to drive efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

As an Office Clerk/Data Entry Specialist at blithequark, you'll be responsible for:

  • Entering daily work orders into our systems with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Assembling and reconciling reports to ensure data integrity and consistency
  • Performing a range of office clerical duties, including filing, copying, faxing, and other administrative tasks
  • Maintaining excellent communication with various departments to ensure seamless collaboration and support
  • Utilizing Microsoft Office applications, such as Excel, Outlook, and Word, as well as industry software to drive efficiency and productivity
  • Performing other duties as assigned by management

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 1 year of data entry experience (typing at least 40 wpm) in operations or a similar service environment
  • 1 year of office clerk experience, with a strong understanding of office procedures and protocols
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with a focus on delivering high-quality results
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues and clients
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel is highly preferred, but not required

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, experience in recycling would be a valuable asset in this role. Additionally, experience with industry software and a strong understanding of data management principles would be an advantage.

Physical Demands

As a remote employee, you'll need to be able to:

  • Organize various office systems through adjusting, connecting, lifting, pulling, pushing, bending, or folding for the purpose of proper records development and/or management
  • Use a computer and related devices, such as a keyboard or mouse, throughout the workday while seated at a desk or workstation
  • Bend, stoop, or sit for long periods of time, with regular breaks to maintain physical comfort and well-being

Schedule

As a remote employee, you'll have the flexibility to work from anywhere, while still being part of a vibrant and supportive community. We're looking for someone who can commit to an 8-hour shift, with regular breaks to maintain physical comfort and well-being.

Ability to Commute/Relocate

While we're open to candidates from a wide range of locations, we do require that you be able to commute or relocate to the Chicago, IL 60608 area before starting work.
