About the Data Engineering Team The Data Engineering team at blithequark is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the data pipelines that support our business operations. We work closely with our colleagues in Choice Science, Client, and Innovation to deliver high-quality data solutions that drive business value. Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team and help us develop and support our cloud-based data pipelines. As a Data Engineer at blithequark, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our data pipelines, as well as collaborating with our colleagues to deliver high-quality data solutions. If you have a strong background in software engineering, mathematics, or a related field, and experience in ELT/ETL information pipeline improvement and support, we encourage you to apply. Key Responsibilities * Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based data pipelines using SQL, Python, and other technologies * Collaborate with colleagues in Choice Science, Client, and Innovation to deliver high-quality data solutions * Develop and maintain automated workflows and data pipelines using ETL/ELT tools * Work with large datasets and big data technologies, such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar * Develop and maintain cloud-based data architectures using AWS or similar * Collaborate with colleagues to design and develop data visualizations and reports * Develop and maintain automated testing and validation processes for data pipelines * Collaborate with colleagues to identify and prioritize data engineering projects and initiatives Essential Qualifications * Four-year college education in software engineering, mathematics, computer science, or a related field * 2+ years of experience in ELT/ETL information pipeline improvement and support * Strong experience with Python and SQL, ideally with Snowflake * Experience with cloud-based data technologies, such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar * Experience with cloud-based data architectures, such as AWS or similar * Experience with source control tools, such as GitLab or GitHub * Experience with Docker and containerization Preferred Qualifications * Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies * Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI * Experience with data warehousing and business intelligence tools * Experience with cloud-based data security and compliance tools * Experience with agile development methodologies and DevOps practices What We Offer * Competitive salary and benefits package * Opportunities for career growth and professional development * Collaborative and dynamic work environment * Access to cutting-edge technologies and tools * Flexible work arrangements, including remote work options * Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance How to Apply If you are a highly skilled data engineer with a passion for cloud-based data pipeline development and support, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
