Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Support Representative / Call Center Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer support via our website chat widget, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Utilizing a comprehensive document with FAQs to answer customer questions and provide accurate information
  • Collaborating with supervisors to address complex customer inquiries and provide support as needed
  • Maintaining a high level of product knowledge and staying up-to-date on company policies and procedures
  • Working independently to manage a high-volume of customer interactions and meet productivity targets
  • Participating in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., customer service, communications, business) preferred
  • 1+ year of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a call center or support environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers via chat
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple customer interactions simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve complex issues
  • Proficiency in using social media and website chat functions on a device (phone, tablet, or laptop)
  • Reliable internet connection and a quiet, distraction-free workspace
  • Availability of 20-40 hours per week, with flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:

  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
