Job Summary

As a Remote Chat & Text Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, remote mental health services to adults, families, and youth in crisis. You will work closely with our team to ensure the quality of services, coordinate day-to-day operations, and recommend and implement changes that improve the delivery of services. This is a full-time remote role that requires a strong commitment to providing exceptional care and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

* Answer all chats and texts in a timely and professional manner while meeting agency goals

  • Effectively assess clinical situations and needs of all chatters
  • Provide quality assurance of the program's service delivery
  • Complete clinical documentation thoroughly, clearly, and accurately, including information critical to data collection and reporting to funders
  • Monitor call-in times for clients placed on a 72-Hour Suicide Watch or Safety Follow-Up
  • Attend all required meetings and training courses, even if they fall outside of the regularly scheduled shift
  • Comply with and assure compliance by staff with the agency's standard of care for service delivery
  • Ensure quality service delivery, including clinical care and all associated documentation
  • Maintain all client records in accordance with agency policies and procedures
  • Take an active role in ad hoc committees and work groups as assigned by the Manager or Director of Programs
  • Provide instruction and training for interns and staff
  • Adhere to the agency's policies and procedures and assure that staff is in compliance
  • Maintain professional conduct consistent with ethical professional practice and the policies and procedures of the agency

Education and Experience

* Bachelor's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field required

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the behavioral health field
  • Crisis Experience preferred
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Program Development preferred

  • Employees must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times
