Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced OIPA Architect and Lead with LOMA certification to join our team on a remote basis. Responsibilities
As a Remote OIPA Architect and Lead, your key responsibilities will include:
- Evaluating specifications for complex business requirements and processes (new, enhancements, maintenance), and developing and preparing technical solutions and documents
- Performing functional gap analysis, reviewing design documentation, and participating in design reviews
- Reviewing and interpreting architectural and technical design documents to develop complex OIPA transactions and processes using best practice OIPA configuration techniques
- Designing logical queries to facilitate calculations, reporting, and complex formulas
- Researching and correcting defects
- Developing Technical Design Documents
- Performing code reviews
- Developing AsFile, Real-time, and Push integration services
- Researching and evaluating system capabilities for integrating product, service, and technical solutions to enable business partners
- Implementing REST services with proven ability to implement solutions
- Entity-based logical modeling and data throughput optimization
- Adhering to defined OIPA integration best practices
- Ability to productively work under Agile project methodologies
- Database concepts and a strong understanding of SQL query building and optimization
- Insurance life and health products for individual, group, and worksite markets
- Configuring life or health products using OIPA V10 or V11
- XSLT and OIPA configuration expertise
Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- 5+ years of Development and Integrations (OIPA & SOA or MuleSoft) experience
- LOMA certification with insurance business functions including:
+ Underwriting and policy issue + Payment processing + Monthaversary, anniversary, disbursement, withdrawal, correspondence, nonforfeiture, lapse processing, state reporting, billing, policy servicing, product set-up, health claims processing, life claims processing
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Oracle SOA and BPM experience
Education
A Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Math, Statistics, Finance, Computer Science, or other equivalent working experience is required.
