Job Summary

As a part-time Customer Service Representative at Delta Airlines, you will be responsible for managing inbound customer calls and emails, resolving customer complaints and queries promptly, and providing accurate information about our services and promotions. You will also be required to maintain a high level of knowledge about our products and services, document customer interactions for future reference, and work collaboratively with team members to improve the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage inbound customer calls and emails in a timely and efficient manner

  • Resolve customer complaints and queries promptly, providing accurate and helpful information
  • Provide accurate information about our services and promotions, including flight schedules, fares, and travel requirements
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge about our products and services, including our loyalty program, baggage policies, and travel documentation
  • Document customer interactions for future reference, including customer feedback and complaints
  • Work collaboratively with team members to improve the customer experience, including sharing best practices and providing support
  • Participate in training and development sessions to improve job performance and stay up-to-date with industry developments
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and conferences

Requirements

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues

  • Problem-solving abilities, including the ability to think critically and resolve complex issues
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including handling multiple customer interactions simultaneously
  • Proficiency in using computer systems, including our customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Prior customer service experience is a plus, but not required
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a call center or customer service environment

  • Knowledge of the airline industry and its products and services
  • Familiarity with CRM software and other customer service tools
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills, including proficiency in Spanish, French, or other languages
