Schedule: Full Time | Scheduled 24 hours per week but paid for 30hrs | 6:15 pm - 6:45am | Weekends Only: Every Saturday and Sunday Pay Range: Pay range: $21.35 - $23.43/hr. (this rate is inclusive of the $3.40/hr. Michigan Skilled Nursing Facility Direct Care Worker Pass-Through approved rate; current approval through September 30, 2025) Shift Differentials, Holiday, and weekend differentials: Night (11:00 pm - 6:59 am $ 0.75 | Weekend (Fri 11:00 pm - Sun 10:59 pm) $ 0.50 Department: Porter Hills Village | Health Center | Grand Rapids, MI ⚕️Long Term Care: 39 bed | Team Member to Elder Ratio: 1:9 What You’ll Do in This Role: Are you a compassionate caregiver with a heart for helping others? As a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) in our skilled nursing community, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our residents receive the highest quality care. From assisting with daily activities to providing comfort and companionship, your work will make a meaningful impact in the lives of those we serve. Primary Responsibilities: ✨ Hands-On Care – Assist residents with personal care like bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting. Mealtime Magic – Help residents enjoy their meals and stay hydrated for good health. ♂️ Keeping Things Moving – Support mobility, including turning, positioning, and safe transfers. Vital Checks – Measure and record vital signs, weight, and intake/output. Comfort & Care – Keep residents’ rooms tidy, cozy, and well-stocked with essentials. Be the Hero They Need – Answer call lights quickly and respond with kindness and compassion. Specimen Collection – Collect and label specimens when needed. Watchful Eyes – Report any changes in residents' conditions to the nursing team ASAP. Team Player Vibes – Participate in care conferences to ensure residents get the best support. Respect & Professionalism – Maintain confidentiality while delivering top-notch care.
