Responsibilities

As a Part-time Chat Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Handling a wide variety of customer inquiries via online chat, providing accurate and timely responses to customer questions and concerns
  • Providing product and service information to customers, including pricing, features, and benefits
  • Narrowing down on appointment information to schedule appointments and ensure seamless customer experiences
  • Developing and maintaining a knowledge base of our ever-evolving products and services, staying up-to-date on industry trends and developments
  • Capturing customer contact information for lead generation and client review, ensuring accurate and secure data management
  • Summarizing interactions based on customer needs for client review, providing valuable insights and feedback
  • Collaborating with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives, participating in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in retail customer service or the automotive industry (not necessary, but preferred)
  • The ability to type at least 35 WPM, with 40 and above preferred
  • Basic internet and window-based computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Strong multitasking skills, with the ability to handle multiple conversations and tasks simultaneously
  • A positive and professional demeanor, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to adapt to change and thrive in a fast-paced work environment
  • Gaming experience is preferred, but not required

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Be able to attend 4 weeks of training, Tuesday-Saturday, between the hours of 10:00am-6:30pm CST
  • Be able to work 5-hour time blocks daily after completing training
  • Meet the typing speed requirement of at least 35 WPM, with 40 and above preferred
  • Possess a positive and professional demeanor, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Be able to adapt to change and enjoy a quick-paced work environment
  • Have gaming experience (preferred)
