Key Responsibilities

As a Cargo Agent, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Providing exceptional customer service to customers via phone, email, and in-person interactions
• Processing and handling cargo shipments, including receiving, weighing, and loading/unloading cargo
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation of cargo shipments, including manifests and bills of lading
• Collaborating with other team members to ensure seamless cargo operations and resolve any issues that may arise
• Participating in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on blithequark's policies, procedures, and best practices
• Working in a fast-paced environment with varying shifts, including early morning, evening, and overnight shifts

What You Need to Succeed

To be successful as a Cargo Agent, you will need to possess the following qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency
• At least 18 years of age and authorization to work in the United States
• Valid driver's license
• Basic digital literacy
• Ability to frequently lift tools, supplies, or items weighing up to and including 50 pounds
• Pass a physical ability test (PAT) and wear required company-approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

• Previous cargo freight and warehouse operations experience
• Typing/computer skills
