As a Chat Specialist, you will be an integral part of our team, working closely with our dealer clients to provide accurate information, schedule appointments, and generate leads.
Responsibilities
As a Chat Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Handling a wide variety of customer inquiries via online chat, providing accurate information about products and services, and narrowing down on appointment information to schedule appointments.
- Capturing customer contact information for lead generation and client review, summarizing interactions based on customer needs for client review, and developing and maintaining a knowledge base of evolving products and services.
- Collaborating with our dealer clients to understand their needs and preferences, and providing exceptional customer service to drive revenue growth.
- Working in a fast-paced environment, multitasking, and adapting to change with ease.
- Maintaining a positive and professional demeanor, even in challenging situations.
Qualifications
To succeed as a Chat Specialist, you will need:
- Previous experience in retail customer service or the automotive industry (not necessary, but preferred).
- Basic internet and window-based computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
- Strong ability to multitask, with gaming experience being a plus.
- Positive and professional demeanor, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to adapt to change.
- Ability to type at least 35 WPM, with 40 and above being preferred.
Requirements
To work as a Chat Specialist, you will need:
- Your own computer or laptop with a webcam, second monitor, microphone, and external mouse.
- A quiet, dedicated workspace free from distractions, as this is a remote position.
- Ability to attend 4 weeks of remote training, Tuesday-Saturday, between the hours of 11am-7:30pm EDT.
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace to ensure seamless communication with customers.
