Job Summary

As a Data Entry Representative, you will be responsible for entering claims in compliance with established procedures, meeting production and quality standards, and identifying and resolving eligibility edits. You will work closely with our team to ensure accurate and timely data entry, and you will be expected to adapt to daily and weekly changes in a fast-paced production work environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Enter claims data into our data management system, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established procedures

  • Identify and resolve eligibility edits, and refer all other edits to claims examiners
  • Meet production and quality standards, including daily metrics and deadlines
  • Work with multiple monitors and software systems, including Windows platform and AS400 (MS DOS) system
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to our clients and internal teams
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure accurate and timely data entry
  • Adapt to daily and weekly changes in a fast-paced production work environment

Essential Qualifications

* 1-2 years of experience in data entry, preferably in the insurance and financial products industry

  • Strong understanding of insurance products, including medical and dental
  • Experience working with Windows platform and AS400 (MS DOS) system
  • Medium skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Ability to work with multiple monitors and software systems
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a production work environment and meet daily metrics and deadlines
  • Reliable and able to self-manage themselves while working remotely

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working with provider data demographics

  • Familiarity with claims processing and eligibility edits
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize work assigned and respond to calls and emails throughout the workday
  • Experience working in a remote work environment
