They are seeking a Senior Regional Sales Director to lead strategic business development, expand enterprise accounts, and drive revenue growth across the NY/NJ region.

Position Overview

As the Sr. Regional Sales Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to expand the company’s footprint in the enterprise cybersecurity market. This role involves high-level relationship managementstrategic account development, and cross-functional collaboration with technical and marketing teams.

The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of cybersecurity solutions, a strong enterprise sales background, and a proven ability to exceed sales targets in a competitive market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth across the NY/NJ territory.
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of enterprise prospects and key accounts.
  • Identify customer challenges and present tailored cybersecurity solutions that align with business needs.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation and prospecting to negotiation and closing.
  • Collaborate with pre-sales engineers and technical teams to deliver solution demos and proposals.
  • Maintain accurate forecasts and reports using CRM tools (Salesforce or equivalent).
  • Establish and strengthen relationships with C-level executives, security leaders, and decision-makers.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to refine go-to-market strategies.
  • Mentor and guide junior sales team members to achieve personal and regional goals.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 8–12 years of B2B enterprise sales experience, with at least 5 years in cybersecurity or SaaS sales.
  • Proven record of meeting and exceeding multi-million-dollar sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity technologies: network security, endpoint protection, cloud security, and threat management.
  • Experience selling to enterprise clients (CIO, CISO, IT Directors).
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot) and virtual collaboration tools (Zoom, Teams).

Preferred Skills

  • Established network within Fortune 1000 companies in the NY/NJ market.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2).
  • Experience in channel/partner management and co-selling with VARs or MSSPs.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to manage complex sales cycles.
