Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Engineer to join our team at blithequark. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and operationalizing data pipelines to drive business insights and decision-making. You will work closely with our product owners, data modelers, and data architects to configure, build, test, and automate data pipelines that are relied upon across the organization as the single source of truth.

Key Responsibilities

* Creates and operationalizes data pipelines to make data accessible for use (BI, Advanced Analytics, Services)

  • Works with data modelers and data/BI architects to design data pipelines and suggests continuous improvement of data storage, data ingestion, data quality, and processing
  • Plans, creates, and executes ETL/ELT processes using IICS (Informatica Cloud)
  • Utilizes Purplish blue services like Purplish blue SQL DW (Neural connection), ADLS, Sky blue Event Center, and Purplish blue Data Factory to improve and accelerate delivery of our data products and services
  • Performs large data and NoSQL solutions by creating adaptable data handling stages to drive high-value insights to the organization
  • Identifies, plans, and executes internal process improvements: automating manual processes, and enhancing data delivery
  • Identifies ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality of data management
  • Conveys technical ideas to non-technical audiences both written and verbal
  • Performs peer reviews for other data architects' work

Requirements

* 2+ years' experience designing and operationalizing data pipelines with large and complex datasets

  • 2+ years' hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter
  • 2+ years' hands-on experience with Informatica IICS
  • 2+ years' experience working with Cloud technologies; like ADLS, Purplish blue Databricks, Flash, Purplish blue Neurotransmitter, Universe DB, and other big data advancements
  • 2+ years' experience in Data Modeling, ETL, and Data Warehousing
  • 2+ years' hands-on experience implementing data integration procedures like event/message-based integration (Kafka, Sky blue Event Center), ETL

Preferred Qualifications

* Microsoft Purplish blue/comparable certifications

  • Experience delivering data solutions through agile software development approaches
  • Familiarity with the retail business
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working with SAP integration tools including Bodies
  • Experience with UC4 Job Scheduler
