Key Responsibilities
As a Remote Data Entry Specialist, you'll play a critical role in supporting our healthcare services operations. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Retrieving documents and data from authorized databases to perform routine tasks, such as data entry, validation, corrections, and updates
- Accurately entering all relevant information into multiple eligibility and tracking systems
- Following extensive work instructions and prescribed department procedures to ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions
- Determining whether an image requires an appointment to be rescheduled
- Meeting individual and unit performance goals and standards as defined by management
- Attending and successfully completing job-related and industry-specific systems and policy training as required
- Reviewing and analyzing discrepancies in data received, requesting clarification, and effectively raising queries to the team supervisor to resolve uncertainties and questions
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Experience working in a health or human services call center
- Knowledge of the community to be served
- Ability to follow directions
- Ability to interact courteously and effectively with a variety of people, including those from diverse cultural backgrounds
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment
