Position Summary:
At the 24-Hour Nurse Line the Health Coach Consultant utilizes a collaborative process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation, to engage, educate, and promote/influence members decisions related to achieving and maintaining optimal health status. Requires an RN with unrestricted active license.
Required Qualifications:
Active unrestricted RN compact state licensure.
3+ years of clinical experience required, with preference for the following areas: Disease Management, Emergency Room, Critical Care, Medical/Surgical Care, Oncology.
1 year proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (including Outlook and Microsoft Word).
Must be open to a start time of 5:00 pm and 1:30 am EST, 8-hour shift, every other weekend and will work 4 holidays per year (rotated out through team)
Willingness to obtain additional state licenses upon hire
Preferred Qualifications:
- Managed Care experience preferred.
- Previous coaching experience preferred.
- Model candidates have telephone triage nursing experience.
Education:
- Associate Degree minimum required.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
