Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative I Healthcare - Remote US, you will be responsible for responding to telephone inquiries from consumers, maintaining accurate records of patient account profile information and referral source data, and scheduling consultations for telesales agents. You will work in a remote environment, interacting with clients and team members to provide exceptional customer service and support.

Key Responsibilities

* Respond to incoming phone calls from consumers, providing accurate and timely information to resolve their inquiries

  • Maintain accurate records of patient account profile information and referral source data
  • Schedule consultations for telesales agents, ensuring seamless communication and coordination
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service and listening skills, providing empathetic and effective communication to clients and team members
  • Perform data entry and computer tasks, utilizing Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel to manage client information and records
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, adhering to company policies and procedures

Minimum Job Requirements

* Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service or call center environment (call center type environments preferred)

  • High School diploma or GED

Preferred Job Requirements

* Effective and empathetic communication style, with experience in managing inbound calls and communications with clients and team members

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, with basic alpha-numeric data entry skills and attention to accuracy and quality
  • Experience in a healthcare setting or insurance industry, including knowledge of basic insurance and third-party terms and medical terminology
  • Ability to work in a team environment, meeting individual performance goals and collaborating with colleagues to achieve shared objectives
  • Effective organizational skills, with ability to prioritize a fluctuating workload and competing priorities
  • Ability to read and interpret policies, procedures, and instructions

* High School diploma or GED
