The Role
As a Full Stack Content Distribution Engineer at blithequark, you will play a critical role in the development and maintenance of our content distribution systems. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing our content delivery networks (CDNs) to ensure that our customers receive the best possible experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and implement CDN setups in the Disney Distribution Network
- Effectively manage OpenCache organizations with ISPs globally
- Audit performance metrics across our storage framework for enhancements (collaborating with operations and performance management teams)
- Manage daily tasks of the Disney Distribution Network
- Participate in tooling development to integrate third-party CDNs into a unified control plane
- Serve as a functional administration contact for CDN support - effectively managing incidents through communication with CDN support teams
- Work to resolve caching issues collaborating with our operations and design teams
- Provide level 3 support for any emergency assessment, acceleration, and backup
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience managing storage systems, preferably in a Content Distribution Organization environment
- Experience in Satisfied Distribution Organization tasks conditions
- Knowledge of CDN Supplier structures and arrangements
- Ability to perform Organization Investigating
- Knowledge of the following:
+ HTTP/DNS/Web Design + Reserving (Stain) + Web Serving (NGINX, HAProxy) + Cloud Advances (AWS, GCP) + Prearranging Dialects (Python, et al) + Security Conventions (SSL Certificates, TLS) + Design The executives (Ansible, AWX)
- Effective communication, written and verbal
- Enthusiasm for investigating and troubleshooting
