Job Overview and Key Responsibilities

As a Seasonal Customer Service Agent - TQO, you'll play a vital role in supporting our customers' travel experiences. You'll be responsible for ensuring that every customer interaction is smooth, pleasant, and memorable. Your duties will include:

Ticketing Responsibilities:

  • Using computers to sell, print, and reissue tickets
  • Managing the check-in process, ensuring that customers have the proper documentation for travel
  • Tagging baggage and performing lifting tasks that involve transferring baggage from scales to conveyor belts
  • Practicing safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures

Gate Responsibilities:

  • Using computers to assist customers with seat availability, gate announcements regarding the boarding process, flight status, checking and handling baggage, managing, and initiating the boarding process
  • Operating jet ways to place them in position prior to aircraft arrival and lifting, opening, closing, and securing aircraft doors
  • Practicing safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures

What You Need to Succeed

To be successful as a Seasonal Customer Service Agent - TQO, you'll need:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Consistently making safety and security a priority for yourself and others
  • Embracing a diverse set of people, thinking, and styles
  • Being at least 18 years of age
  • Frequently lifting bags or items weighing up to and including 80 pounds
  • Being authorized to live and work in the country you're applying to
  • Possessing entry-level computer skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills using appropriate grammar, tone, and pronunciation
  • Being willing to work a fixed and/or rotating schedule, including afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Being fluent, both written and orally, in English and Spanish

Preferred Qualifications:

While not required, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge:

  • Previous customer service experience in the aviation industry
  • Proficiency in multiple languages
  • Experience with airline operations and procedures
