About the Role

We are looking for positive, compassionate, and hardworking RNs to fill immediate openings in our Orthopedics, Neurology, and Critical Care units. As a Registered Nurse at Sanford Health, you will play a vital role in planning and coordinating patient care, assessment, education, triage, and various other nursing interventions. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team, including physicians and nursing leaders, to provide high-quality care and advance our organization's mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plans and coordinates patient care, assessment, education, triage, and various other nursing interventions
  • Collaborates with colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate care
  • Empathetically cares for patients during all stages of preventive services, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up along the continuum of care
  • Demonstrates competency and uses comprehensive nursing expertise to provide high-quality care
  • Works closely with nursing leaders to advance the organization and achieve its goals

Qualifications and Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program, including but not limited to, American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
  • Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
  • Obtains and subsequently maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Experience in Orthopedics, Neurology, and Critical Care
