About the Role: Entry Level Chemical Regulatory Specialist

We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level Chemical Regulatory Specialist to join our Scientific Insourcing Services department as a Regulatory Analyst. This remote opportunity is perfect for science professionals looking to launch their careers in regulatory services and make a meaningful impact in the industry. As a Chemical Regulatory Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring global chemical compliance and driving sustainability initiatives forward.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Input information from vendor safety data sheets into a hazard communication database, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Review and analyze global chemical regulations to determine their application for various products, staying up-to-date with changing regulatory landscapes.
  • Search for SDS sheets of raw materials, verifying their accuracy and completeness.
  • Fill in missing or incorrect information in SDS sheets, collaborating with vendors as needed to resolve discrepancies.
  • Contact vendors to request missing information, clarify regulatory queries, or resolve compliance issues.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related scientific field, demonstrating a strong foundation in chemical principles and regulatory frameworks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn new software applications quickly and efficiently.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and organizational abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Customer service experience, with a proven track record of effective communication and issue resolution.
  • Prior exposure to regulatory compliance or chemical management systems, with a willingness to learn and grow in the role.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of $20.00/hour, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
