Job Description

Five Colleges, Incorporated has an opening for a Repository Collection Metadata Coordinator to develop and then implement a plan for maintaining complete and accurate metadata for materials in the Five College Library Repository Collection. The Repository Collection is housed at two off-campus facilities and includes about 810,000 print items previously held by Five College libraries (Amherst, Hampshire, Mount Holyoke, and Smith Colleges and the University of Massachusetts Amherst) and affiliates. This is a 10 hour/week non-exempt, casual, non-benefited position with Five Colleges, Incorporated. The primary work location for this role is in N. Hatfield, Massachusetts, though some hours may be performed remotely (within Massachusetts only). Duties Working closely with librarians across the Five College Consortium, the Metadata Coordinator updates and, as needed, remediates records to ensure those materials are discoverable and accurately described to users within and beyond the Five College community.
