Description The Surveillance Infection Prevention Specialist is a specialized position with a focus on infectious disease surveillance and reporting. This role is expected to work in a predominantly autonomous fashion and should not require mentorship in their role. Required qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Public Health, Lab Sciences, Microbiology or related health science field. Or equivalent education/experience. National Certified in Infection Control - Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology within 1 year of hire. 1 year Healthcare Experience 1 year Epidemiology Experience Preferred qualifications: Master's Degree in Nursing, Public Health, Lab Sciences, Microbiology or related health science field.
