Job Description

As an Email and Chat Billing Associate at blithequark, you will be responsible for handling customer inquiries and concerns via email and chat channels, focusing on billing-related issues. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting. Key Responsibilities:

* Respond to customer inquiries and concerns via email and chat channels, providing timely and accurate solutions to billing-related issues

  • Utilize Jamaican Sign Language to communicate effectively with customers who are members of the Deaf Community
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve complex customer issues and escalate concerns as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and update customer information in our database
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge in customer service and billing
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve customer satisfaction and business objectives

Essential Qualifications:

* Member of the Deaf Community with fluency in Jamaican Sign Language

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 3 CXCs or City & Guilds, including English Language, preferred
  • Valid Government ID (Passport, Driver's License, National ID)
  • TRN and NIS documents
  • Ability to pass a drug test and criminal background check
  • Not currently attending school
  • Flexible to work any 5 days and any 8 hours on site (Ward Ave)

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience in customer service or a related field

  • Knowledge of billing and customer service principles
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software
