Job Overview

This is a full-time, national remote opportunity that offers the flexibility to work from anywhere within the U.S. As a Senior Data Entry Clerk at blithequark, you'll be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering data into computer-connected terminals, verifying data, and performing clerical tasks. You'll work on semi-routine assignments that require attention to detail and the ability to recognize deviations from accepted practices.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Enter data from source documents into computer-connected terminals with high accuracy and efficiency.
  • Operate alphabetical/numerical keypunch machines as needed.
  • Verify data and perform clerical tasks in the data processing function.
  • Examine, revise, approve, and dispatch input and output materials according to established specifications.
  • Work on semi-routine assignments that require attention to detail and the ability to recognize deviations from accepted practices.
  • Meet productivity standards as outlined in client metrics.
  • Identify any issues or trends and bring them to the attention of the management team.
  • Work on special projects as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • 1 year of data entry experience.
  • Experience with using Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook.
  • Ability to work normal business hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1 year of healthcare experience.
  • Previous experience with utilizing EPIC, Cerner, or other hospital applications.
  • Medical billing or claims experience.

Telecommuting Requirements

  • Ability to keep all company-sensitive documents secure.
  • Dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy.
  • High-speed internet connection or existing high-speed internet service.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly range for this role is $16.00 - $28.27 per hour, depending on factors such as local labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, you'll have access to a range of benefits, including:
