Job Summary

As a Remote Customer Service Representative with blithequark, you will be responsible for handling incoming calls from new and existing business clients, providing support, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. You will be the face of our company, and your exceptional customer service skills will make all the difference in building strong relationships with our clients.

Key Responsibilities

* Answer incoming calls and process orders in a timely and efficient manner

  • Correctly document customer interactions and track call types
  • Maintain support service levels and uphold Customer Service standards
  • Own follow-up with customers to resolve inquiries regarding order status, shipping status, and stock availability
  • Take inbound phone calls for up to 90% of assigned shift
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in high-volume calls or call center experience
  • Medical-related background (medical billing, claims experience, in-office experience in a medical setting) or insurance experience is a plus
  • Excellent telephone etiquette, including the ability to communicate with confidence in a clear, professional speaking voice
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated listening and comprehension skills
  • A clear team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain composure when dealing with difficult customer situations
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Strong PC skills, including MS Office, Word, and Excel
  • SAP experience a plus
  • Previous experience in the optical industry
  • Ability to navigate information systems and internet
  • Strong English comprehension and a good command of grammar

Preferred Qualifications

* Bilingual French speaking

  • Experience working in a fast-paced call center environment
  • Knowledge of optical industry products and services
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software

Compensation and Benefits

* Competitive hourly rate: $17.50 for English speaking and $20.00 for Bilingual French speaking
